Credit cards make it easy to overspend because your credit limit is determined by your credit score not how much money you actually have. The convenience of credit cards also makes it easy to lose track of how much money we are actually spending. This is why it is a good idea to make most purchases with cash.

One of the most important things that you can do to maintain good credit is to pay your bills on time. Every late payment is a huge black mark on your credit report and will quickly damage your credit rating.
